R&D Manager Recruitment for Globalbit


In March 2023, we were approached by the Israeli company Globalbit to fill a complex managerial IT position – R&D Manager.

Job Description

  • 3+ years of experience in R&D management roles.
  • 5+ years of practical full-stack software development experience in the following areas:
       - Web interface development on popular UI frameworks: Angular or React.
       - Backend development on NodeJS, NestJS.
       - SQL/NoSQL DBs.
  • Software design skills:
       - OOP/OOD.
       - DDD.
       - Functional programming.
       - Microservices.
  • Experience with cloud services AWS/GCP/Azure.
  • Good understanding of DevOps:
       - Infrastructure as code.
       - CI/CD.
  • Deep understanding of the R&D process, including design, development, and product testing.
  • Experience in projects in the fields of finance, travel, and jewelry was advantageous.


We meticulously examined the vacancy requirements and discussed the details with the client. The task was challenging: we sought candidates with managerial skills, experience in similar roles, and professional knowledge in relevant R&D technologies. We sent personalized invitations to candidates found not only in open sources but also in databases of past projects. Interviews and internal team discussions were conducted to identify each candidate’s strengths and weaknesses.


The client was provided with detailed profiles of the six selected candidates. After a series of interviews, two final candidates were identified. One of them successfully passed the final interview stages, received a job offer, and joined the company. In the final stage, we actively supported the client, helping to resolve financial motivation issues satisfactory to all parties.

Our expertise allowed us not only to attract a worthy candidate but also to address the client's accompanying requests, accelerating the process and saving their time.
